JG College of Performing Arts is a premier institution dedicated to nurturing talent and preserving the rich heritage of performing arts. Established and managed by ASIA Charitable Trust since 2004, our journey began with just five students and has since flourished into a global centre of excellence in the field of performing arts.
At JG College of Performing Arts, we offer a comprehensive educational experience with a three-year Bachelor’s degree and a two-year Master’s degree specializing in dance, music, and drama. Our meticulously designed curriculum balances theoretical knowledge with practical training, equipping students with the skills needed to excel in the competitive world of performing arts.
Our institution offers specialized training in various disciplines, including Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Hindustani vocal, Carnatic vocal, Sitar, Pakhawaj, Mridangam, Tabla and drama. With a strong emphasis on both theory and practical application, we ensure that our students build a solid foundation, empowering them to thrive in today’s evolving artistic landscape.
Guided by a team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty, we have in just two decades, earned a distinguished reputation on the global stage. Our students’ achievements and the success of our alumni stand as a testament to our commitment to excellence in arts education.
To enrich the learning experience, we regularly organize workshops, lecture demonstrations, presentations, and interactive sessions with eminent artists from various fields. Our students also participate in study trips to South India, where they immerse themselves in the Guru-Shishya Parampara, gaining first-hand experience of ancient teaching traditions.
Annual events such as Theatre Day Celebrations, Dance Day Celebrations, the Winter Festival, Vividhotsavam and Jamboree provide platforms for our students to highlight their artistic progress and celebrate the spirit of creativity.
